Carole Coleman, owner of Tansy Lane has turned her retirement into a search for the past when her family lived on the Fundy shores since the early 1700's.
During that time generations of women in her family gathered the wild flowers and herbs on the shore, in the fields and in the woods. Now Carole is continuing her passion for these wild and heritage plants into products for our modern times.
Local fruits are made into herbal oils, vinegars, syrups and infused oils . The body care products are made with Carole's wildcrafted or home grown plants ,infused oils, and local beeswax complemented by sustainably sourced ingredients. Carole is now on the other side of the Fundy shores in Wolfville, Nova Scotia where she can be found foraging for seasonal native plants or at the Wolfville Market on Saturdays. |
